Dr. Neuza Helena Moreira Lopes is a highly qualified cardiologist, with extensive academic and professional experience, working at the Instituto do Coração/InCor as clinical supervisor of the Interventional Cardiology Unit. She graduated in Medicine from the Federal University of Maranhão and completed residencies in Clinical Medicine at the Hospital das Clínicas of the Faculty of Medicine of the State of São Paulo FMUSP and in Cardiology at the Instituto do Coração/InCor-HC-FMUSP. He has a PhD in Cardiology from the University of São Paulo and completed post-doctoral studies in Molecular and Cellular Biology at Duke University and Ohio State University. Currently, she is an Associate Professor in the Department of CardioPneumology at the University of São Paulo and an assistant physician in the Hemodynamics and Interventional Cardiology Unit at InCor-FMUSP, acting as supervisor. Dr. Neuza Lopes has extensive experience in clinical cardiology, focusing on chronic coronary disease, angioplasty, diabetes, atherosclerosis, heart failure and cardiogeriatrics.
