Dr. Maria Cristina Seiwald is a doctor with extensive experience and specialization in Hematology and Hemotherapy, with a focus on Bone Marrow Transplantation. Graduated from the Pontifical Catholic University of São Paulo (PUC-SP/Sorocaba), completed her Medical Residency at the Federal University of São Paulo (UNIFESP/Escola Paulista de Medicina) and in the area of ​​Onco-Hematology and Bone Marrow Transplantation at Hospital Sírio Libanês . He holds the title of Specialist in Hematology and Hemotherapy, with an area of ​​expertise in Bone Marrow Transplantation by the Brazilian Association of Hematology, Hemotherapy and Cellular Therapy (ABHH). In addition, he has international internships in Bone Marrow Transplantation at the prestigious hospitals Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center and University Hospitals Cleveland Medical Center. Complementing his training, he completed a postgraduate degree in Quality Management and Patient Safety at the Teaching and Research Institute of Hospital Sírio Libanês. Currently, Dr. Maria Cristina works as a doctor at the Oncology and Bone Marrow Transplant Center at Hospital Sírio Libanês, Hospital Vila Nova Star and Hospital São Luiz Itaim, in addition to being part of the clinical staff at Hospital 9 de Julho.
